CAPPING PRESSES

The new high speed capping presses offer the most comprehensive range of models and features for making and applying aluminium foil caps to bottles and containers. Presses are built in single, twin and triple tool versions providing outputs up to 700 bottles per minute (higher speeds available on request) and can produce caps with or without tabs in sizes up to 110 mm diameter. Twin and triple tool presses have two main advantages over their single tool counterparts, in that, they can show up to 14% savings on foil and because press cycling speeds are lower and reduce wear on moving parts.

All presses can be either shaft driven (filler driven) or free-standing. Filler driven models are custom built to meet all of the requirements of the filler manufacturers. Free-standing models are mounted on a fabricated base with polished stainless steel covers containing the main drive unit, and are designed to stand alongside the filling line. All new tool unit assemblies are fully interchangeable with previous models.
